Licensing

A license is a package that defines how users can access,use,and distribute software or services. It specifies who can use it,the included features,and its validity period.

License Types

The platform offers three primary license types,each providing different levels of access and features:

  1. Free: Provides basic access and features.
  2. Enhanced: Offers increased capabilities and features compared to the Free license.
  3. Premium: Provides the highest level of access and features.

Admins can compare plans and select the subscription that best suits the team size, usage, needs, and support requirements.

Publisher Role (Add-on)

The Publisher role is available as an add-on to any of the three base license types (Free, Enhanced, or Premium).

This add-on allows users to:

  • Publish items on the platform's marketplace.
  • Earn revenue from the published content.

License and User Management

By default, when users join the platform for the first time,their organization will receive a Free license. This license provides basic access to the platform's features.When a users of the organization requires more advanced features or capabilities,the Admins of that organization can easily upgrade to an Enhanced or Premium license.These licenses provide increasing levels of functionality to meet the team's needs.

Admins can navigate organization's licenses by following these steps:

  1. Go to the "My Organization" section on the Dashboard. Lincense page
  2. Navigate to the "Licensing and User management" tab. Lincense page

Upcoming Feature: License Comparison & Management

We're developing a new capability that will enhance Admin control over license. Soon, Admins will gain access to a comprehensive comparison of our Free, Enhanced, and Premium licenses, helping them select the ideal plan. This section will also provide the option to downgrade license from Enhanced or Premium plans.
