5 Applications External applications integrated with the AIIP platform designed to perform specific functions for end users or other software.
6 Artifact A digital file or set of files, that provides supporting information for accurate chat assistant results.
7 Artifact Registry Repository for managing and storing container images. Container images greatly increase reproducibility and security in AI development.
8 Azure Microsoft Azure, often referred to as Azure, is a cloud computing platform developed by Microsoft. It offers access, management, and the development of applications and services through global data centers.
9 Blueprint List of custom infrastructure components required for a specific type of customer.

11 Bucket Name A unique identifier assigned to a storage bucket in cloud storage.
12 Central Data Repositories A centralized storage system where structured and unstructured data is collected and managed for analytics and reporting.
13 Chat Assistant/Ask Me An AI-driven virtual assistant designed to answer user queries and provide information.
14 Cloud Build A service for automating the building, testing and deployment of code. Cloud Build is a service that executes our builds on Google Cloud infrastructure.
15 Cloud Composer Workflow orchestration service built on Apache Airflow for scheduling and managing chains of jobs/functionalities.
16 Cloud Security Posture Management Maintains cloud security by monitoring configurations, identifying misconfigurations, ensuring compliance, and enabling automated remediation and alerts.
17 Cloud Run Job Service that runs repetitive compute tasks in a serverless environment.
18 Cloud Run Service A service to run code that handles incoming requests continuously (eg. a web service).
19 Cloud Source Service for hosting private code repositories. Cloud Source Repositories are fully featured, private Git repositories hosted on Google Cloud.
20 Cloud SQL A relational database service for MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Cloud SQL is a fully-managed database service that helps us set up, maintain, manage and administer our relational databases on Google Cloud Platform.
21 Cloud Storage A service that allows data to be stored and accessed remotely over the internet. Cloud Storage allows world-wide storage and retrieval of any amount of data at any time.
22 Cloud Workstation A managed development environment that provides secure, scalable and accessible virtual desktops for coding. Cloud Workstations provides preconfigured, customizable and secure managed development environments on Google Cloud.
23 Compute Engine Creating new computing machines (called virtual machines or VMs) in the cloud to preprocess data, develop code, host smaller apps with a web frontend (e.g. tensor board, custom image viewer etc) and so on.
24 Customer-managed encryption key (CMEK) A cryptographic key managed by a customer, rather than the cloud provider, to encrypt cloud resources.
25 Dashboard A centralized homepage providing quick access to My Projects, My Items, Bookmarks, and Approvals & Requests etc. It offers an intuitive layout, real-time updates, and easy navigation to manage tasks efficiently.
26 Data Services A centralized platform designed to ingest, process, and visualize various types of data, allowing users to manage diverse data formats such as DICOM, Annotations, and Digital Pathology.
27 DevSecOps Integration The incorporation of security practices within the DevOps process to ensure continuous security and compliance.
28 Gamification The use of game-design elements in non-game contexts to enhance user engagement and motivation. This includes features like points, rewards, badges, leaderboards, and challenges. 59 Smart Customer Relationship An approach to managing and enhancing customer interactions and relationships. Admin will be able to utilize the platform for cost optimization, monitoring, contracting and billing for monetization and cost tracking.
60 Storage Class A tiered system of cloud storage with different pricing and performance characteristics.
61 System Admins Individuals responsible for managing and maintaining the platform.
62 TPU A specialized hardware accelerator designed by Google for high-performance machine learning tasks. Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) are Google's custom-developed application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) used to accelerate machine learning workloads.
63 Vertex AI Workbench Vertex AI Workbench is a tool provided by Google Cloud for developers and data scientists working to build machine learning models.
