Digital Assistant Overview

The Digital Assistant is a key feature of the AI Innovation Platform, powered by GenAI capabilities. It assists users with technical, platform-related, and general healthcare queries while navigating the platform. The assistant leverages a comprehensive knowledge base, including platform documentation, guides, project research, multiple research papers (such as PubMed), and documentation, along with Google Gemini's capabilities.

In addition to platform support, the digital assistant can handle general research and coding tasks. These tasks may benefit from a general-purpose LLM chatbot, which does not strictly require grounding (i.e. build by/supported by) in retrieved content.

The AI Digital Assistant is designed to streamline the SaMD (Software as a Medical Device) development process, reducing users' workload across all aspects of their journey.
