Adding Items to Cart and Requesting Purchases

This page guides you through the process of adding items to your cart and submitting a purchase request.

Adding Items to Your Cart

You can add items to your cart from two locations:

From Marketplace Landing Page:

  • Locate the item: Browse the Marketplace Landing Page and find the item you want to purchase.
  • Add to Cart: Click the "Add to Cart" button on the item card.
  • Confirmation: The button will change to "In Cart," and the shopping cart icon will update to reflect the number of items in your cart. Marketplace Landing

From Item Details Page:

  • View Item Details: Click on an item to view its detailed page.
  • Add to Cart: Click the "Add to Cart" button on the item details page.
  • Confirmation: The button will change to "In Cart," and the cart icon will update to reflect the number of items in your cart. Marketplace Landing

Requesting Your Purchase

Review Your Cart:

  • Access Your Cart: After adding items to your cart, easily review them to make updates or adjustments as needed. Marketplace Cart

  • My Cart: Review the items you've added to your cart that are pending purchase requests. Marketplace Cart

  • Select Items: The "Select All" checkbox is enabled by default. To select specific items for purchase, deselect the ones you don’t wish to purchase. If you manually select individual items, the "Select All" checkbox will automatically disable itself. Marketplace Cart

  • Add to Wishlist: Click the "Wishlist" icon next to an item to save it for a future purchase.

  • Delete Items: Remove unwanted items from your cart by clicking the Delete icon next to them. Marketplace Cart

Admins can directly place orders for items without going through the approval process.

Submit Your Request:

  • Send for Approval: Initiate the purchase request by clicking on "Send for Approval".
  • Continue Shopping: Navigate back to the Marketplace Landing Page by clicking "Continue Shopping" to explore and add more items to your cart. Marketplace Cart

  • Request Orders Popup: A popup will appear displaying all selected items and their details. Review the information and click "Send for Approval" to confirm your request. Marketplace Cart

  • Confirmation: A confirmation popup will display the message: "Your purchase request has been placed successfully." Marketplace Cart

Tracking and Modifying Your Requests:

  • Waiting for Approval: Check the status of items you've requested for purchase. These are awaiting approval from the admin.
  • Request Status:

    • User Request: If you requested the item, other members of your organization will see "Awaiting admin approval" on the item card and details page.
    • Team Request: If someone else from your organization requested the item, you will see "Requested by the team" on the item card and details page. Marketplace Cart
  • Delete Requests: To remove an item from your request, delete it directly from the "Waiting for Approval" tab. This will also remove the item from the admin's pending approval list.

Saved for Later:

  • Wishlist: Keep track of items you're interested in for future purchases. Save products here to quickly revisit them when you're ready to proceed. It's your go-to spot for thoughtful planning and inspiration! Marketplace Cart

  • Notifications: You will receive a notification confirming your purchase request. A second notification will be sent once the request is approved or declined by the customer admin.
